One stage process with the HR Manager. A fairly informal process consisting of skills and experience based style questions. Face to face interview. Interviewer was welcoming and easy to talk to.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Minky (Rochdale, England) in Apr 2014
Interview
The interview process itself was about average; I was taken into an office-style room and interviewed by 2 people (the Sales Executive and Human Resources Manager). They were fairly pleasant and shook my hand when I first arrived, as well as offering me a drink.
The interview was fairly standard - what do you know about Minky? Which product stands out to you and why? Tell us about yourself.
I asked for feedback at the end of the interview and they said that I would receive it once I got a reply and that they'd contact me to let me know whether I got the job or not. They didn't have a clue when that would be, which I found quite odd (and unprofessional, since they couldn't even give a rough estimate) but I didn't think too much of it and just wrote it off as being due to the amount of people they were interviewing or something.
I never actually heard back from them at all, even when I phoned the HR Manager about 3 weeks later and left a message asking for an update on the process. I found this deeply unprofessional and would advise anybody going for an interview with them not to expect much in the way of contact, but the interview itself was well executed and the questions were standard for any sales related position.
