      Interview

      The process began with a written/online test (Round 2) that focused on basics of Computer Organization, memory concepts, HDD working, and fundamental technical knowledge. After that, in the technical interview, the panel asked me about computer memory hierarchy, types of memory, HDD structure and working, and basics of COA (like instruction cycle and addressing modes). They also asked me to reflect on the mistakes I made in the written round, which tested not only my technical clarity but also my ability to analyze and learn from errors.

      Computer memory – (types: primary vs. secondary, RAM/ROM, cache, registers, hierarchy). HDD (Hard Disk Drive) – (working principle: magnetic storage, platters, read/write head, access time, seek time, rotational latency, difference vs SSD). Basics of COA (Computer Organization & Architecture) – (instruction cycle, addressing modes, CPU organization, pipelining basics, I/O techniques, memory hierarchy).
