I had three interviews: one with the recruiter, another with the hiring manager, and a third with the leader from an adjacent team. There were originally four interviews planned, so I made it quite far in the process. Overall, everything went smoothly: clear communication with everyone involved, quick responses to my questions, and a generally positive atmosphere. However, after the third interview, I received an automated rejection with no feedback or explanation. I reached out to the recruiter to get some clarity, but unfortunately, I was met with silence. In my view, failing to provide personalized feedback at the final stages of a hiring process shows poor form. It feels both disrespectful and disappointing, especially given the significant amount of time and personal effort candidates invest in the process.
