This was one of those interviews that felt incredibly frustrating and superficial. The HR department conducts all initial and ongoing contact with candidates, basing everything off of scores to supplemental questions. The interviews were scheduled for one day and one day only, and you were allowed slots in order from best to worst based on your "scores." We all have to take time off to go to interviews, but not having a chance to arrange that time off in a way that worked best for both parties was really frustrating. The interviewers were really unwelcoming upon arrival and the interview itself was horrible. The questions seemed mostly appropriate for the position, but a few were out of left field. Probably the most disconcerting piece was that the interview was only 30 minutes long. It didn't give quite enough time for either party to get to know one another.
