I applied online filling in basic details and completing a test which included verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning sections about the business. Overall, I found this pretty easy and I got an email soon after saying that my application has been shortlisted and I may be called for an interview. A few days later I received the call and I was asked a few questions about myself, customer service, and Next. The interviewer was lovely and said they weren't expecting hugely detailed answers as I was called out of the blue. I was told at the end that I had qualified for the assessment which we scheduled for early the next week. The assessment consisted of me shadowing someone in the home department and I was asked to display stock. Whilst doing this I had do keep an eye out for customers and greet them. This lasted approximately 30 minutes. I was then taken to the back and was told I was successful, I was also given £10 to cover travel expenses and a £10 Next voucher. I have an induction day soon.
