I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at NEXT (Leicester, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
After completing the application form, literacy test, video interview and telephone interview, I was invited for an assessment centre. I had to prepare for an individual activity; a presentation including a SWOT analysis on women's blouses, future trends and how they can be related to the Next consumer. I then had to build a range of women's blouses by choosing 10 out of 20 blouses they had provided and had to justify with trend, lead times, suppliers etc. I then had a regular structured interview with the same lady. There was supposed to be a teamwork exercise but only two of us were they so they cancelled it.

Interview
After I applied I did received a link where I was given some questions and I had to record my answer.
Then I had an interview over Google meet with one of the buying managers. She asked me questions such as why do I want to work at Next, who do I think the customer is, what can I bring to the team etc. As this role is very trend based I was asked which trends I thought for the next season.
Next I was invited to an Assessment Centre day where I did a group activity, a presentation task and finally a formal interview. My task was to do a swot analysis of a womenswear category and also trends.
