I applied online. I interviewed at NEXT (Kidderminster, England) in May 2026
Interview
Had a very short online interview where I was asked if I had any existing commitments, to share a bit about myself and how I had changed something I was doing to make sure I was working efficiently and productively. I was then invited to an in store assessment where I put stock back on to the shop floor from the fitting room, created an outfit for a scenario and explained why and found/gave out a parcel. Overall it was relatively easy, just make sure you approach every single customer as they were very certain about that (for example I thought just approaching a few customers was fine especially considering I most likely wouldn’t be able to help but my assessment person came up to me and asked told me to talk to everyone).

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at NEXT (Swansea, Wales) in Apr 2026
Interview
A couple days after applying online, I got a call from the store manager through an unknown number and just shortly went through details about the job and asking if I could come in the next day. During the face to face interaction, I had an interview about the usual retail questions and had a 2 part assessment after. I had to pick out an outfit for a special occasion and then had to put clothes back on the store floor from the changing rooms. Ended up getting called later in the evening saying I got the job.
