I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at National Security Agency (Baltimore, MD) in Dec 2018
Interview
Organized interview. I applied and a few weeks later a recruiter reached out to me via phone and scheduled a weekend where I fly to Maine for interviews. They booked a nice hotel with other applicants staying there, and we all took a bus to the agency. The interview process will vary depending on how many departments are interested in you, but most people had to take a polygraph test before the actual interviews. Questions ranged from technical questions to computer science fundamentals, not many behavior questions. I had 2 interviews onsite and had 2 acceptance letters when I walked out, so they're very quick in their turnaround.

It was a 1 on 1 interview first with a hiring manager then with a 4 person panel. The questions were typical and were not difficult, everyone was very friendly.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at National Security Agency (Laurel, MD) in May 2024
Interview
Submitted application. Response email with links to a new virtual video questionnaire. Im not a fan of this interview format. Would prefer phone calls and in person interviews. Job posting was vague and all over the place technically.
