I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2013
Interview
Easy and plainness. You take a test to see how "motivated" you are to take the job. The interview was a one on one with a New York Life manager. They will review the questionnaire that you answer and proceed to ask a few other questions about availability and experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Are you motivated?" Of course, I wouldn't have applied.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New York Life (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2026
Interview
Did a phone interview, vague on offering to try and get you in the door for a F2F. Skeptical towards moving forward due to lack of upfront information and information found online for the fast track to management position.
Super easy interview process that focuses more on you asking questions rather than getting interviewed. If you want this job make sure you spend time asking questions about the company and learning more about the role. Also just realize.
3
Initial meeting is to understand the prospective hire and meet the recruiting team and other principals. Second meeting is with CEO to get a marketing study completed along with some company history.
