NewOak looks for experienced financial professionals that can work independently. Teams members work virtually and meet by Zoom. The system works well most of the time. All of the employees are very experienced in various aspects of products from Real Estate to Venture Capital.

I interviewed with 3 team members, first the most senior and then 2 individuals who have been in the role I was interviewing for for over 1 year. I lasted about 1 1/2 hours which I was prepared for.

It was a pretty easy and comfortable interview. I had to come in for 2 days and meet the entire team, but they were all super nice and make you feel extremely comfortable. All the questions were just behavioral to mainly see how you will fit in with the culture of the firm.
