Was a general and mild technical round about my experience and projects worked on. Interviewer were expecting A Android Dev with a lot of Java knowledge, unfortunately Android development has transitioned to Kotlin 6+ years ago, so still looking out for legacy Android dev was a red flag. I would recommend if you expectation is Java dev with some Android knowledge, do not interview engineers with Kotlin experience. Also HR needs to do due diligence of requirements rather than setting up for a interview with panel of PMs who want a java dev.
