I applied through other source. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual
Interview
The initial contact was by email, then a video call was scheduled with an HR/Talent acquisition person, who sorts of screens to see if you have the minimum soft skills for the position and explains more about the opportunity. Then if this is successful, the person schedules you to video conference with the recruiting manager - in the meantime you receive a sort of personality test which you discuss with the manager and I think that makes the conversation richer and pertinent. The following stages depends on the outcome of this step. Overall, very engaging people and responsive.

I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Greenville, SC)
Interview
Very casual, over the phone, expect to cold call even if they say you won't. Almost zero technical questions and seemed rather rushed. Probably wouldn't advise unless you have no other options.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (West Hartford, CT) in Nov 2024
Interview
First was a phone call interview. Then in person with the cheif recruiter. They had me come in for a third interview to meet two more representiatives and gave me assignements to start building my clients
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Honolulu, HI)
Interview
The initial interview was fine. If you wish to proceed they'll give you an assignment that will take some time to prepare. If they offer you a position you'll find its mostly all networking through your personal connections for sales. Not ideal.
