Interview
Pros:
- HR were friendly
- The interviewer was friendly
- Their content seems good and you can tell they care about quality of their materials through what they say and what they have produced!
Cons:
- They asked me to make a full sample lesson (which they did NOT reimburse you for your time) during the interview they didn't mention it once. Which is very strange. Not even a single question about the sample work.
– The interviewer re-scheduled the interview which is always a red flag!
- The interview questions were just asking you to give them ideas for content, every answer I gave the interviewer was writing them down, to the point where I was just sitting there waiting for them to finish writing my ideas down, very strange.
- The interview asked really enthusiastically if I had more questions I should email them after, I did, and the email was never replied to. Bit unprofessional. Received a rejection email a few days later.
– The HR stated that they had people based in America in their US office but when I asked in the interview they said this wasn't true, so a few things didn't appear to be truthful.
Overall Feeling:
I was just used for free ideas and a free lesson.
