I'll make this short as the other interview review mentioned the exact same process as what I went through:
The process initially appeared organized and professional. I had a call with the recruiter who was very professional and made a positive impression right off the bat.
I then had an interview with a person at Numa, who also made a positive impression. The interview went smoothly, and there seemed to be a good connection.
However, when reaching the technical stage, I spent the required 2h of focused work on the task, submitted and ... radio silence. No updates, no PR reviews, no calls, nothing. I had to send multiple message to the recruiter to finally hear from him that I was declined, with no feedback regarding why I wasn't a good fit.
The main issue arose after the technical stage, where I was required to complete an assignment. I dedicated 2 hours of focused effort to this task, adhering to the guidelines provided and ensuring my submission was of high quality. This assignment was not only a test of my technical abilities but also a significant investment of my time and energy, demonstrating my interest and commitment to the role.
Finally , I will end by quoting the previous review (I don't know who they are, but they really summed it up perfectly): "While I understand that not every candidate can proceed to the next stage, basic professional courtesy of a follow-up or acknowledgment would have been greatly appreciated. It reflects on the company's respect for candidates' time and effort."
