I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Nuro in Jan 2022
Interview
I have had a very pleasant experience so far.
Gone through 1 phone screen with a very courteous lady and a coding interview with another, knowledgeable, polite and professional engineer.
I do feel bad that i got the interview time wrong (my fault) as the invite never showed up on my calendar and was caught unprepared, but they were very accommodating of that as well.
Coding question was reasonable and very doable, i had the right approach though wasn't able to finish the code in time.
Waiting on results (Was compulsory to pick one so i picked ‘yes and accepted’).
Would definitely recommend interviewing with them. Don’t be skeptic after reading the bad reviews, for me they weren’t true.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nuro in Mar 2022
Interview
15 minute recruiter call followed by a 1 hour tech screen.
Was asked an extremely vague coding question, offered little to no hint. When they noticed I was stuck, they seemed to have lost all their interest in the interview at the 25 minute mark.
I was far from stellar in the interview, but if the interviewer presents a trick question which needs a very specific approach to solve, provides no clue/hint, and what is the point of interviewing? The other, more senior "observing" interviewer could not be bothered to answer basic questions like what the team does, or what are the current needs of the team.

Question 1
extremely vague and undefined question about position estimation
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nuro
Interview
Got reached out by Nuro recruiter on Linkedin and email. Went on a 45 mins intro call with the recruiter, then scheduled a 45 mins live coding interview with one of their engineers. It was good experience overall. Everyone was helpful to answer my questions. The engineer on the live-coding was also very helpful during my coding session, giving out a few hints when I was unsure on the initial approach. Eventually I solved the problem and have some time left to answer a few C++ questions. Actually felt pretty good after the interview, but I guess I didn't present what they are looking for. Supposed to be another technical round and one culture-fit round for the rest of the process.

Question 1
Use C++ to implement a math equation. It's more on your math knowledge rather than LC algo style.
