The Interview process was overall good. I was asked to come in and meet with the owner and operations manager. The initial Interview was over the phone and then we met in person for the follow up interview. They were asking me a lot of great questions and I told them the truth about my experience. I've worked many years union and private as a machine operator. I left the interview feeling very confident about getting the position.
Unfortunately I came to learn that a friend of a friend of the company was offered the position. I later found out that this individual was working as a parts manager at a car dealership. Nothing against this guy, I'm happy for him. I'm just confused why experience was left out of the hiring process.
