Recruiter call -> then onsite interview with hiring manager and another manager.
The second I sat down, the hiring manager said that he needs to go pick up his kids at 5pm. I arrived at 15:45 and the interview started at 16:10 (As they were still looking for a meeting room) I felt super rushed, barely any time for questions from my end. It was not a great experience.
I am still not sure why I was invited for the role. It seemed they already had an internal candidate and just wanted to confirm whether they made the right decision. One interview question was The internal candidate has all the tooling experience but not managerial and we are going through changes, why should we then go for you, with all the managerial experience and not all the tooling experience. It felt like a huge waste of time.
