I submitted my resume online, and two days later, I received an email from Jenn - a recruiter - requesting a call. Although I had done my research, all attempts to engage her were rebuffed. To make things worse, she scoffed at one of my responses and responded Okta uses a far more advanced method. Despite how terribly the call went, I still followed up with her, requesting feedback(I do this now matter the outcome of an interview). Three months later, I have yet to receive a response. Since landing my current role, a different recruiter from Okta reached out to me via LinkedIn, which was a hard pass for me. My experience indicates that Okta is one of those phony companies that like to give the impression of being welcoming when they are far from it.
