      Frontend Software Engineer Interview

      30 Sept 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Onebridge

      Interview

I responded to their Job Ad for a Frontend Software Engineer, this position was a staff augmentation for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis. A few days later, a recruiter emailed me to set up an interview using Microsoft Teams, but for whatever reason the recruiter did not include a link to the Teams meeting, this was a foreshadowing of the things to come. I contacted the recruiter about the lack of a Teams link in her email, and she managed to set one up for the interview. During the interview, I asked her about the role and when Lilly was going to interview. The recruiter said that Lilly wanted to interview and bring on someone immediately. She told me that my next step was going to be an interview with Eli Lilly, and that was going to happen in the "next couple of days". She told me to expect a call soon. Two weeks went by, there was absolutely no communications. I sent her an e-mail asking for a update, she responded a week later saying that my resume was not submitted to Eli Lilly because there were already several candidates ahead of me. Needless to say, this was a total waste of time.
