I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at OpenAI (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
ML Coding and Data Round: I gave the technical screening round, and it was simple and straightforward with only pandas based questions. Weirdly they did not ask any ML coding questions.
Hiring Manager Round: This round was to check fit for the role.

The recruiter was enthusiastic and supportive throughout the process, showing genuine interest in my background and experience. However, responses were somewhat slow at times, which occasionally made it harder to maintain momentum during the interview process.
it starts with HR screen followed by technical screen I applied online via their website. Process wasnt bad people were friendly - the interviewer seemed a bit zoned out though during the technical screen.
