I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Osterweis Capital Management (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2021
Interview
Pretty simple. I applied by sending an email directly, then they called me for an interview, and there was only one interview. There were no technical questions. Overall, very simple process and everyone was super nice
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Osterweis Capital Management (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
I only had one interview with them and it was about an hour and fifteen minutes long. It was the type of interview where they ask a question, I answer, they write down my answer and immediately move onto the next question. It was definitely not a conversation type of interview. Very straightforward and to the point, which was a bit intimidating.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Osterweis Capital Management in Jan 2018
Interview
Fantastic process and people. Met with the head of HR and head of Marketing for the standard hour long Q&A. Very detail oriented and thorough with a clear interest in not just experience but where one's drive originates. Definitely interested in deep industry expertise as well as skills to influence up to the C suite.
Second interview required an industry knowledge assessment focused on the firm, asset management and markets.
