Interview process was, for me, very relaxed. Spencer and I met first and we went over my resume, the H.E.A.R.T program, and he said I seemed like a very good fit. Spencer was easy going, laid back, and made conversation in between each section of the interview. I felt very much welcomed, and didn't feel uneasy or stressed out.
I was then offered a second inerview with Lisa (department head) and Kevin (GM). We conversed about my skills and action plans to bring the baking department life and product. I talked about my working history in kitchen s, and my culinary degree and Red Seal. We connected as people, as well as professionals. It was a very pleasant interview process, as I felt welcomed, and building a positive relationship from the get go. We talked about specifics of what the job would entail, as well as some other duties they were looking to implement, given my work history and confidence I could be up to, if not exceed their expectations.
