I was asked to sit at a table and asked common questions. They asked me what I wanted to gain experience wise and I replied - then was informed that what I wanted to get was not what I would receive by working there. My training and experience would have been enough to perform the job well, and allow me to move up. However the person giving me the interview didn't seem to really want to interview me in the first place, and I was eventually passed off to another employee, who wasn't quite sure what to do with me or ask or tell me. The person who had been interviewing me then went on to greet somebody else who came in for an interview, who seemed to know or at least know well enough to greet them with much familiarity. So it seems somebody was already in mind for the position, which makes me wonder why I was invited to come in to interview at all. It was eye-opening on how the management there functions, and made me glad I didn't end up working there.
