I applied online. I interviewed at Peloton Interactive (New York, NY) in Dec 2020
Interview
I interviewed over the course of a month at Peloton - I moved through very quickly initially with the recruiter, hiring manager, and then hiring manager + director, and then had a project to complete and present to the hiring manager + director. From there, I moved through four loop interviews.
Only 1/4 interviews went well, and the rest I felt like members of the current team didn't want to be there - they were not super excited in their answers about what kept them at peloton and they all just landed on "the people".
There was no recruiter follow up at the end of the interview - and I had to ask to a timeline - to which they ghosted me for a couple of weeks, and then I had to follow up again 3 separate times to get an answer.
I got an e-mail from a recruiting coordinator, saying the main recruiter would be in touch with me within the next day or so. Four hours later I got a generic rejection letter, with the recruiter offering feedback if I want it. This was sent from an automatic e-mail with no actual inbox and if you reply, no one reads it. I cc'd the recruiter and was ghosted again - after they offered to provide feedback.
There was a lot of inconsistencies within the recruiting process - title changes, lack of follow-up, and towards the end after having 8 interviews, I had to check-in three times over the course of a couple weeks for a timeline. Super unprofessional, disrespectful of a potential candidates time, and all around a messy experience.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Peloton Interactive
Interview
Seamless sign up process, the interviewer seemed easy-going, did not receive any curveball questions from the recruiter. Research the brand, and their recent initiatives. Unfortunately, was not advanced to the next round.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself. Why Peloton. Why this role. Where do you see yourself in the future.
