Phalen Leadership Academy interview questions

I applied for thier salesforce system admin job and went through three rounds of interviews, completed a take home project, and provided 5 references. After all that I got a generic automated email saying they selected someone else, but then they reposted the job? Totally okay with not being selected, but I got zero feedback on a lot of effort and time on my part is strange.

Fairly straight forward. I applied online through Indeed. The recruiter contacted me via email and we scheduled a time to talk the following week. After the initial phone screen we setup a time for me to interview with the hiring manager. I was offered the job a few days after that.
