I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pilot Flying J (Knoxville, TN) in Nov 2012
Interview
Process was straight forward. Phone interview, in person interview, then second interview/job shadow for an hour or so. Ended up not getting the job and later found out they do not pay very well for this position. 16-17 an hour plus it was a night shift job
It was a pretty simple process. I had a phone interview and an in person interview. They definitely want people that think on their feet. You will be required to take ownership in what you do.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Pilot Flying J
Interview
The process lasted about a week. First, there was a brief phone interview and a follow up by the company recruiter. This was followed by 2 face to face interviews on site and eventually a job offer by phone.
The whole process took less than two weeks. There was one interview, and an online personality/IQ test. The interview lasted about 45 minutes. It was fairly laid back, it was more of a conversation where they tried to find out about what kind of person I was. There were not really any 'tough' questions. The online test took about a 90 minutes.
