I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (Middletown, CT) in Mar 2017
Interview
Met a recruiter at my school's job fair. Received a phone call from him a couple of weeks later where we discussed my resume and qualifications for the job. I received an offer about a month after that. It was uncannily easy.

Question 1
Was asked a think tank question to explain how I'd solve a design problem. Every answer given was then intentionally negated to see if you could come up with a different solution (example: I'd use xx material for the design, counter answer: that material is sole sourced in a mine that just flooded)

Interview
This was my first in person interview and it was very relaxed. The hiring manager that I met with was very personable and only asked behavioral questions. Reviewing a number of example behavioral questions that I figured would be relevant to the job before the interview really helped. I had a few experiences prepared that I could draw on to answer the interviewer's questions.
