Following submission of my resume, I was contacted within 1-2 days and had a screening interview with the hiring VP. HR expressed interest in having an on-site interview. Communications leading up to the on-site interview were sporadic and irregular. I took a half day vacation for the all morning interview. Upon my arrival, the VP stepped out of a meeting and said, "Sorry, somebody was supposed to call you and reschedule for another time". So, another interview was scheduled. The interview consisted of meeting three different groups where each pitched their product lines. I asked a few questions. In the last session, I was asked more technical questions. Following the last session, the VP escorted me to the lobby. Along the way, he indicated the company was interested in me. I would get an interview with HR later in the week, followed by a more technical interview early the next week, and a decision shortly thereafter.
I never heard from the company again. I sent a follow-up email a week later, and a second follow-up another week after that.
Abysmal follow-through, and the worst of 8 interviewing experiences over the past year.
