I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Austin, TX) in Jan 2016
Interview
The Austin sales leader had reached out to me in LinkedIn end of 2015, and I replied back in January showing interested in a conversation. After 2-3 weeks I got a reply with no call to action. I then responded (twice) with my contact info. 2 weeks after that I got a one-liner saying, "hey, this recruiter CC'd will reach out to you to set up a call." After another week, I got another one-liner asking me to pick a time slot for a 30-min screen via TimeTrade.
The gist of the call was about how unique Procore was for having 10+ full-time recruiters, and it was made clear more than once that she was back-to-back all day. I asked a few unique questions and got thoughtful responses, but the velocity of her recruiting workload and how over-worked she was stood out after about 3 minutes (should be noted as you're hiring sales professionals).
I decided not to send a follow up email asking for a next step, as I would've declined based on the experience. As expected, I got (again) a one-liner saying (and I'm paraphrasing here), "Just to give you a quick update, we won't be moving forward. Thanks!"
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing noteworthy. It was a 30-min call she arrived late to and left early on, and 20 of the 25 minutes was the Procore pitch. Only a few of the standard screening questions were asked. It was mainly me asking questions.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (London, England) in Apr 2022
Interview
First is an online assessment, then following that 3 in-person 45 minute long interviews.
Overall, the process was okay but the feedback did not align to what I said during the interview, and one of the interviews repeatedly asked my age and said I 'looked young'...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about their company values and what they mean, which are very vague being openness, optimism and ownership - three words that are all very ambiguous.
2 and a 1/2 hours of interviewing back to back with various managers. Similar questions and you have equal time to ask any questions. Overall was fairly repetitive so be ready to answer questions several times.

Question 1
What was the hardest obstacle that you had to deal with at work and how did you overcome it?
Thank you for your feedback. If you would like to share any additional specifics about your interview experience or areas where you think we can improve, please email us at employerfeedback@procore.com.

- How do you handle rejection
- Tell me about a time you wanted something so badly, you were unstoppable in your pursuit
- What are your goals/aspirations (5 year plan)
- A piece of advice that has stood out to you in your career
