I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Carpinteria, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Fantastic interview process. Always reply promptly and willing to help. The whole process was started with 2 rounds of phone interviews and followed by one round of onsite interview.
The first screen was with the recruiter and mainly behavioral stuff. The second one was with an engineering manager who I would be working under if accepted, talking about my previous projects, the languages I'm comfortable with and some other behavioral questions.
The onsite interviews consisted of a campus tour and talk with 3 Procore members. First interview was purely technical, included a 45-minute pair-programming task with an engineer. It was very relaxing and fun, just like we're actually working together. Second round was with another engineer, mainly about my past experience, teamwork and culture fit. Last round was again with the engineering manager, talking about leadership and my career path. All the people I've met are very friendly and the whole process was just wonderful.
Recruiter call. Then panel interview easy process. Was very straightforward and communicative along the entire way of the process. Super easy and recruiter was amazing emails through out the process
Typical process- recruiter reached out, had 5 interviews over zoom, and then the offer was sent. I negotiated and while they were hesitant, they ended up giving me what I wanted.
I applied online. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Cairo, Cairo Governorate) in Oct 2024
