I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Austin, TX) in Oct 2022
Interview
I was recruited to apply here and overall I had an amazing experience with recruiter, but that's about all I can say positive. The recruiter was super helpful throughout the process and kept me informed on the dates for the next interview and how to prepare for next steps. She informed me that I would have 2 back to back interviews with a director and sales manager as well as an additional team member who will be running through a mock sales demo call. So I felt very prepared going into the interview. The day arrives when I begin the initial interview with the director and sales manager. I would like to point out here that as soon as my screen popped up on their screens I could sense the expressions on their faces that they both already made up their minds. They were nice and respectful and asked me basic and formal interview questions. I felt as though I was on par with what they wanted to hear, but their non-verbals and facial expressions really dampened the mood. I proceeded onto the next interview with a team member who I thought would be walking me through a sales demo. He was very unprofessional looking wearing a baseball cap to the meeting, and just overall didn't want to be there. Instead, he asked me one question and then paused answer his door because his DoorDash had arrived. I though he would wait until the meeting was over but he began eating his food while he was interviewing me. I felt as though I was wasting his time. I asked him one question and he gave me a very vague and irrelevant answer. We did not do a mock sales call even though I prepared a good hour and a half for it.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies
Interview
Recruiter reached out. Then next step was speak with another recruiter who still didn’t know much about the actual role. Then spoke to the hiring manager. All 3 interviews were not able to answer questions about OTE performance or even company performance. Huge red flag if they don’t tell you actual percentage of AE’s hitting OTE

Interview
Had a phone interview today, from a resume I sent them over 3 weeks ago. The interview was going good, until they asked me what kind of formal sales trainiing I'd had. I said I've been a succesful sales person for over 20 years, and had some back at Dell. She mentioned that If I didn't have sales training in 3-4 that she named, it would look bad.
