After a phone screen, an in-person interview with the hiring manager, and a design test, I was asked to come in for a full loop. Most of the people I interviewed with were nice enough minus a couple duds. I got the impression that conversation was off the table during each 1:1. I was asked the same robotic cliché questions in each interview while the interviewer took notes, completely unengaged. The tone was very much like I was being drilled and way too much like an Amazon interview. As much as this company likes to showboat about being cool and fun, they can't hide the fact that they are just carbon copies of the other big tech companies in their approach. Overall, I was unimpressed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most questions were of the "Explain a time when..." nature.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Provo, UT) in Mar 2019
Interview
Spoke with seven employees including five formal interviews. Extremely unimpressed by the Creative Director as wanted to talk much more than he was interested in getting to know me or my experience. Was condescending. The rest of the interviews were great, but the decision maker wasn't fun to talk to.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What skills outside of your role description are you interested in bringing to the table.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Provo, UT) in May 2013
Interview
The interview process was spread over a couple of days with several stakeholders. The people were nice and seemed genuinely interested in me and answered questions I asked. Lots of time left alone between interviews. Overall good experience.
