      Customer Success Manager Interview

      5 Oct 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Lehi, UT
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Questionpro (Lehi, UT) in Oct 2017

      Interview

They emailed me and wanted to set up a time to meet at their Lehi office. When I arrived, I was taken aback when I walked into the office. It was basically one room, with a bunch of shaky tables set up, with computers and junk all over them. It honestly looked like a college dorm room. The second I walked in, I knew there was no way I would be working here, but, figured I get practice interviewing. During the interview, the interviewer was really a nice guy, asked me about myself, etc... It came up that I was making over $100K a year at my previous job, and the interviewer stopped me, and said, "I just want to be really transparent. This job starts at $40K, and 10% for sales, and 2% for renewals." I knew it was going to pay a lot less than I was used to, but, it was half of what I was looking for. I actually really appreciate the fact that he was forthcoming with this information, because, I was able to tell him that it's just not a good fit, and save myself 30 minutes. Like I said, everyone was SUPER nice, I was not turned off by the people in the least, it was mostly the office space, and obviously the ridiculously low pay. With over 12 years experience in this field, I need to make a lot more than that. I don't think the office would have been as troubling as it was if I knew this was a startup or something, but, this company has been around since 2002. So, they totally need an office upgrade, BAD... It's a huge turn off for real talent. People who are used to working at big technology companies with a lot to prove. This would be a great place to work for someone who is just at the start of their career. Someone who is totally cool with making a lot less money, in a lot less professional environment.

      Customer Success Manager Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Questionpro (Austin, TX) in Jul 2018

      Interview

Interview process was very easy, a little too easy. Answered 3 questions via email, had a quick phone interview which led to onsite interview. I had offer letter within 5 hours of my onsite. I counter offered, not by much, and they rescinded offer. I was shocked and appalled. Ive never had a company rescind offer during negotiations.
