The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Quincy Compressor (Addison, IL) in Jan 2024
Interview
Interview was very straightforward, transparent and welcoming. I didn't feel pressured. First was a 30 min phone screening, in the screening you describe your work background and ethics. You'll learn more about the company as a whole as well. I then took a test regarding mechanical and spatial aptitude. About a week later you find out if your invited for a sit-down at the office involving Field Service Delivery Manager and Branch Manager. I asked a lot of questions every one was very straight forward on their answers and transparent if they did not have the answer on hand, each time during the screening and interview they did get back to me to answer any unsolved questions I had. During the sit-down I was given a verbal offer followed up by a letter a few days later. Overall process from screening to first date to report was about a month. The company is vested in hiring long term employees, my offer was a little lower than anticipated but I accepted given the opportunity for growth and development to progress.
