Interview
The phone call was unorganized and the recruiter called me an hour before my interview so I was not prepared, I was running an errand. I tried to run with it but she wanted to reschedule, I think it was a mess. She did mention that this was not an interview!

Interview
Completed prescreen with HR and was asked to take Behavioral Assessment. Next meeting was with hiring manager. These all happened within a long drawn out - three week timespan. Then met with another leader from the executive team and then with the CFO which took another two more weeks.
Was told that the last step in the process would be to present two candidates to the CEO to interview and choose for the role.
Was told by HR that they are going back to interview more candidates after feedback from the CFO.
Was declined for the role which I was grateful for. If the CFO and CEO are making all of the hiring decisions then it shows how micromanaged the company is and how much autonomy management gives their teams for decisions.
Honestly, I think they are looking for “YES” people that will fit this chain of command model. If you are a leader and want to make an impact then you will probably be disappointed in choosing this company.

Interview
You'll get a conference call with two other people. I got interviewed by a man and a woman, the man asked most of the questions. They use Encompass Software so act like you have experience with it. (They've been using it since 2019)

They underwrite 10-15 files a day. For my interview, this was just for Level 2 underwriter and you only look at 4 criterias on a tax sheet (I forgot which ones)
