      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2020

      Interview

Applied through the RBC Website and received an invitation to interview 2 weeks later. It was a 30 minute, one on one interview with the Director of the team I was applying to be a part of. As can be expected with a half hour interview, it 90% behavioural/general questions with some basic OOP theory. They want you to demonstrate some genuine excitement about the position and to be able to talk about your problem-solving and teamwork skills. For the technical questions, it's important to be concise and show your understanding of the underlying theory more than the language itself, they won't have time to grill you with follow-up questions. I prepared the night before and the morning of the interview and felt very comfortable with my level of preparation going in. I received a job offer on the day of my interview about 5 hours after it finished.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2018

      Interview

I had an in-person interview with 3 interviewers including team manager after having a phone interview. It took about a month from phone interview to the end. It was friendly and quite straight-forward. They explained to me what I am going to do during my work-term well.
