Proceeded with questions on the example report I've sent in the application. Can be very detailed questions, mostly in scientific areas.
Ended with few personality questions.

This is assuming you have done an example equity report or stock pitch.
First round with VP that was online based and it involved motivation questions and a few behavioural/competency questions and most importantly question about key strengths and what the candidate will bring to the role.

Interview
Series of Zoom meetings with the hiring manager, analyst, and associates on the team. About 5 Zoom calls total. There was an excel and writing test to be completed over 48 hours testing basic excel and research skills. The last step was an in-person interview with the analyst and associate on the team.
