1 phone screen by HR, 1 phone interview by my future direct report, 1 in person interview meeting everyone on the hardware team. HR got back to me after every step in 3-5 days.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked to describe physical components on multiple embedded devices.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RF Code (Austin, TX) in Oct 2017
Interview
The first contact was with HR, followed by a phone screen with the hiring manager. After this, they brought me in for an onsite interview which was a very positive experience. They are optimistic about the future and are innovating in interesting ways. The team of firmware engineers are all relatively new to the company.
Overall the company was respectful and professional with the interview process, and had an offer come through I would definitely give it strong consideration.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at RF Code (Austin, TX) in Apr 2015
Interview
Submitted resume via recruiter, so much of the screening was done before I had any knowledge of the company's needs or interests. With the company, I had an-site interview with director who'd be supervising, then with a potential coworker, and the opportunity to submit a tailored portfolio.
