I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at RJLG (Pittsburgh, PA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Professional, yet laid back. Felt like my time was respected. Didn’t ask too many questions in general. No personal questions were asked, ie why did you leave your last job? Or why do you want to work here?, which was nice. It was sweet and to the point. All questions asked were about previous work experience pertaining to my position.
The interview process was thorough but lighthearted and personable. I truly enjoyed this interview in that they didn't ask the cookie cutter questions of 'what are your strengths and weaknesses.?' There was a sit down portion with three staff members and then at the end they gave me a tour of the building.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RJLG (Pasco, WA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Very informal. With the Laboratory Director - outlined what work I was expected to be doing. Included a lab tour. Interviewer was already familiar with my work experience as he used to work on the same project that I was coming from at Hanford Nuclear site. He explained the scope of what the lab does, a rough idea of the percentages of each of its major clients and what work I would be starting to do first.
