I was informed that the hiring process consisted of three interviews:
The first one with HR, followed by a technical assessment. If the results were satisfactory, I would proceed to a technical interview. Finally, if that went well, I would be invited to a third interview at the office.
After successfully passing the first interview, completing the technical exercise, and receiving highly positive feedback on both my technical skills and interpersonal abilities in the second interview, they told me they would arrange a meeting at their office to meet the team.
Two weeks passed without any updates, so I decided to follow up via email. After exchanging a couple of messages and receiving no further response, I opted to call the HR representative directly.
Here’s what happened next:
She apologized for not providing a date for the final interview and then informed me that they had already hired another DevOps engineer. The hiring process was now on hold for at least a month.
This struck me as a huge lack of professionalism on RavenPack’s part. Their approach to hiring leaves much to be desired. After all the time and effort I invested, they didn’t even bother to notify me—I had to chase them for an answer.
