      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2016

      Interview

First round consisted of a behavioral interview and a case interview at my University. I was then invited to interview at Red Ventures. The day consisted of 2 case interviews, 1 behavioral interview, and 1 group interview. Be familiar with the company terminology. Long day of interviews, but an overall positive experience.

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Red Ventures in Sept 2018

      Interview

I did two phone interviews and then did an on site interview in North Carolina. The first phone interview was a 30 minute behavioral interview with HR. The second phone interview was a 30 minute case study. The nice part was they gave us an example of a case study which was very similar to the real interview question they gave us (formulas with click through rate, etc.); it was mostly questions with website performance. For the final round interview, they pay you to go on site and you have a day of interviews. There is a preinterview dinner where you eat with current employees and the other interview candidates. On the interview day, there is first a tour of their company, then there are three one on one interviews, and finally a group case study. For the one on one interviews, there's one behavioral, one case study that is similar to the phone interview case study, and one that is an open ended case study. For the group case study, they partner you with three other interview candidates and you complete an Excel exercise with each other while an employee watches the group and takes notes. Then a senior manager comes into the room and asks the group some tough questions. I did fine on the one on one interviews but I messed up the group interview since I didn't talk enough. The decisions were made fast; the interview was on Friday and we all heard back the following Monday.

      Interview

I applied through my university's website. Red Ventures conducted both the case analysis and behavioral interview on the same day. The behavioral interview was a traditional interview where they go through your resume. The case analysis was a bit different than traditional ones because it was a bottleneck process.

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures (Charlotte, NC) in Jan 2017

      Interview

Applied online. Had a phone screening with the recruiter, which went well. The screening consisted of going over my resume. Got a follow-up email to move on to the second round, which consisted of a case with one of the companies Red Ventures (RV) works with. That case involved numbers and calculating percentages without a calculator. I did very well on this and got called to come down to their headquarters just outside of Charlotte for a day of final round interviews. RV was very generous to fly me down, where I had a pre-interview dinner the night before with one other candidate and two employees from RV. The day of the interview, I had a tour with that same candidate and a different employee. The on-campus final round consisted of a behavioral case interview, a group case interview using Microsoft Excel and various functions in the program (nothing complex or hard to learn), and 3 analytical case interviews. As I was learning about the company through the interviews in the day, I came to realize that this was not the work I wanted to do after graduation. I did not receive an offer, but overall, the experience was a good one.
