I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures (Charlotte, NC) in May 2019
Interview
Applied through referral and got call back in 1 or 2 days from HR. Initial round was with HR and it was usual like "What you know about red ventures","why do you want to work here". Next is a 30 minutes technical interview on phone with the hiring manager. It was mostly on intermediate SQL ,basic spark and more in depth on the projects and experience. Then they called for a 4 hours onsite interview at their SC office. The HR took for a campus tour followed by lunch with the team. Then had technical interviews one with SQL and another whiteboard round with logical questions where you want to write pseudo code for the problem. It is tightly tied with your data structure skills and the interviewer expect you to give an optimal solution for the problem.
First talked with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, then CoWorkers and then the director. Hiring manager asked about projects and 3-4 coding questions and Live coding session about SQL, Python, and Java.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures (Charlotte, NC) in May 2024
Interview
3 rounds
1st round with recruiter for about 30 minutes
2nd round with a data engineer for about 30 minutes
3rd round with the manager of the various teams + technical assessment. It took about 3 hours of assessment questions
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures in Aug 2019
Interview
Had an initial call with an internal recruiter followed by a call with the hiring manager. The hiring manager called late because apparently he lost track of time in the previous meeting. I was sent a coding assignment which was a great way to test your Data Engineering skills (other companies usually just go for coding tests). I was supposed to have another call with another senior level executive, followed by onsite, but the call was again late by more than 20 minutes. I stopped the interview process after this, as they don't seem to have a hard time keeping their schedule
