I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Restaurant Associates (Philadelphia, PA) in Apr 2012
Interview
Very simple, asked a few questions about your experience in hospitality. The setting was one on one, it was a very open interview process in which you provide a resume and sat down with a supervisor. Felt very comfortable because there were several interviews taking place in the same area.

Interview
I sent a cover letter and resume. The whole process was very quick, took maybe 3 weeks. The interview was not hard. Asked very basic questions and got hired essentially before the interview was done. Went with a friend and she also got hired.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Restaurant Associates
Interview
I was told about this job opportunity from a friend. A group of about 20 people were being interviewed on this day; though, the interviews were held individually. It was a very pleasant interview, spoke about past jobs, why I wanted to work here and my availability. I filled my taxing forms at the interview and was contacted about training soon after. An official from the New York branch came to train the new employees, it was only a few hours long and taught proper place settings, how to serve, and how to handle different situations.

I was asked about my past serving experience. I did not have any experience before this job so I simply used aspects of past jobs that could relate to serving and customer service.
