The process started with an initial phone screening to basically make sure I was a real person and to ask basic questions about why I applied for the position. Following that, there was an online "aptitude test" that I had to complete. Now, I took this test under the impression that it had some relationship to the position that I was applying for. However, this test was just basic math word problems and figuring out patterns. It was a complete waste of time, and took about 2 hours of my evening.
After completing the aptitude test, I was contacted for an in person interview at the site after I had to fill out some forms and take an ethics assessment. This ethics assessment asked me about five times about stealing from the company, and I was informed that they are a "smoke free workplace, in and out of the office." Now, I don't smoke or steal, but I don't appreciate a company telling me what I can and cannot do outside of work or basically accusing me of stealing before I have even started there.
On top of all of the ridiculousness listed above, I had to RETAKE the EXACT same aptitude test in person to make sure I didn't cheat on the one I took at home. This, once again, wasted over an hour of my time solving trivial math problems.
After all of that, the people who were sent to interview me walked in, and basically said that my qualifications didn't live up to what they were looking for. Wow.
All in all, I don't think I would work for a company that doesn't trust you from the beginning. Also, their ridiculous interview process needs some work; it was a waste of everyone's time. I was very disappointed in this company and how they treated this whole process.
Would not recommend anyone apply to a job here.
