A total of seven interviews, ranging from recruiters, to hiring managers, senior managers in roles across the EMEA and people I'd potentially work with. The process took about 3 months in total, and was plagued by the massive layoffs that happened early 2024, so my interview process was in total canceled and picked back up three times, due to recruiters and employees having been laid off, that I was supposed to interview with, and the fact that they shut down the role and re-opened it throughout. Very chaotic process, but all the people I actually got to speak with were absolutely lovely. After the last interview I was given a rejection e-mail from a noreply address. When contacting the recruiter I had dealt with towards the end (I'd already gone through three previous recruiters, they were all laid off one-by-one) for some sort of feedback, I never actually got a reply. When looking it up a month later, it turns out that particular recruiter had her last day on the day I got my rejection letter.
I'm hoping the interview process at Riot is more calm than this normally and if that's the case, then I'm sure most applicants will walk away with a content feeling, cause the people there are absolutely lovely, at least the ones I got to speak with (and that still have a job there).
