I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Riot Games (New York, NY) in Dec 2015
Interview
Applied via online, and then was interviewed via Skype. The person who interviewed me was very nice. Riot really wants you to know the game, and most importantly be passionate about the game. The interview was about 30 minutes, and the environment was very comfortable. There are multiple rounds of interviews. If you get past the phone or Skype interview, the next interview is in person at Riot. Good luck to whoever applies.

Question 1
What are your goals? Why do you want to work for Riot Games?
I applied online. I interviewed at Riot Games in Mar 2017
Interview
Long interview process -- multiple phone interviews before on-site. They care a ton about culture fit, and making sure you have an understanding of the field not just in general but as it pertains to Riot/League in particular. Pretty much definitely have to know the game well/play the game.
