I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rippling (Austin, TX) in Apr 2024
Interview
Very deceptive job listing. The job was listed as remote with no indication of needing to go in office. During the phone interview they said it is company policy for 3 days a week in office since I would be within 40 miles of the office. Not to mention the office didn't even exist yet, so they'll hire you remote then force you into the office. If a job isn't remote, that's fine, but don't list as one just for applications and waste everyone's time. The recruiter also seemed very unenthusiastic and it was an immediate turn off from the company right from the start. Interview stopped after I reused a hybrid role. I was hesitant based in reviews of the company before doing the interview and after the overall poor experience, I definitely have no interest of ever even applying for a role with them, let alone interview.

Interview
The interview is across a series of calls: Recruiter, hiring manager, cross-functional team member, case study. Recruiters were helpful along the way telling about next steps. Case study was an opportunity to see what a day in the life would look like.
