I had a recommendation from a family member for the position. The interview was done via video conference call with one of the mortgage loan directors. It was fairly informal (no suits). Because the role is somewhat of a sales role, it was more important that the candidate be personable.

A couple phone interviews, pretty standard. Terrible job, 6 months and I was out. Refi channel that was basically phone harassment under the guise of helping clients. Dont work here, pay is low for mortgage bankers industry wide

Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Very relaxed and laid back with both. Get to know you questions to start then the “Name a time when..” to end each interview
