      Software Developer Interview

      8 Apr 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Roke Manor Research (London, England) in Feb 2022

      Interview

Slow, poor communication, very easy. The slowest process to organise an interview I've ever experienced in ten years. One interviewer failed to turn up the other wasn't sure what role I had applied for. The interview was nice but also incredibly easy because all the technical questions were a conversation where the interviewer gave their own thoughts, which was nice but not really a way of finding out what I knew. I passed that round, was asked for my availability for the next round of interviews. I replied with my availability and then haven't heard anything for over a month. Needless to say I've accepted and started another role.
