I applied online and was contacted the following week by the HR recruiter. I went through a screening interview, and was told 100’s of people applied for the position. I was also told my salary requirement was within the recommended range. I went for a face to face with a panel, hiring manager, HR rep. I spent 1 hour in the interview, the questions were typical. If they ask you what the most frustrating experience you have had and how you handled it, lie, they do not like the truth. After 2 weeks, and multiple un-returned calls, I was told they hired internal. I specifically asked if this position was available internally, they said no. Overall, I feel they really never had a position to offer, or, they already had an internal candidate selected, and were going through the motions. They reposted the position 3 weeks later, at 30% below the salary we had spoken about. It was a very disappointing experience, but it has made me more aware for other opportunities for which games are being played.
